Curt & Victoria Dieterle are the owners and operators of the crewed sailing yacht Billy Jean. They will show you a wonderful time on your Caribbean sailing vacation in the Virgin Islands.
Victoria & Curt have been married for 10 years and enjoy life to the fullest. They have a few other hobbies besides sailing and have many stories to tell. They enjoy to travel off the beaten path and discover new places, to share with there guest. Curt likes to take photos, always looking for the perfect shot, while setting up a wonderful CD of memories for you to take home after your trip. They both enjoy music, listening and collecting for their large assortment of songs on the iPod to share with their guest and have a wide selection to cater to every ear. Both Victoria & Curt are captain's and Chef's, so the combined effort makes a great week of sailing and eating. They will share a happy hour drink of the day with you while enjoying the sunsets of the Caribbean Virgin islands.
Victoria born and raised in New York, Italian and Puerto Rican background. She was an owner of a Northern Italian and Swiss restaurant in her home town of New York. Her love of the water comes from her family whom always owned boats of various sizes and styles. With many different trades under her hat, she is a great conversationalist and a welcoming host on Caribbean sailing vacation. Victoria was sitting on the board of governors and was the Vice President of the Virgin Island Charter Yacht League "VICL" from 2002 to 2006.
Curt born in Stuttgart, Germany, is owner and captain of the BILLY JEAN. He has more than 20 years and 35,000 miles of sailing experience including sailing across the Atlantic. He began sailing at a young age on lakes in Germany then branched out to sailing the Mediterranean waters. After buying BILLY JEAN, he set sails for the Canary Islands and the warm waters of the Caribbean with charter guests who wanted blue water experience. In former times he was the manager of a dancing school, night club and restaurant. Curt enjoys people and speaks German, English, Spanish and some French. He knows the Virgin Islands, it is his back yard and will make your Caribbean sailing vacation a safe and exciting experience.

In October 2002, Victoria has completed and passed all US Coast Guard classes to become a licensed 100 ton Master Mariner Captain. She also fulfilled the Safety Training STCW-95 course including fire-fighting, water-safety. first-aid and CPR.
